Twitter and American Express Creates New York Fashion Week Microsite

Lovers of all things fashion, although Fashion Week has already started (it runs from September 9-16), you can still attend the event at home on your computer in your Jonas Brothers pajamas.

Now you can follow New York’s Fashion Week thanks to Twitter and American Express.

This week,  Twitter and American Express launched the microsite www.fashionweek.twitter.com/ to help people follow all of the news from NYC’s biggest fashion extravaganza.

The microsite breaks down into four categories: Shows, Designers, The Scene, Beauty and  (as well as sub-groups like foot wear) where you get tweets, photos and video from the runaway to  backstage.

If you don’t want to go to the site, you can simply type the hashtag #NYFW.  The only difference, you won’t get the separation like the microsite gives you.

This is probably only  the beginning for future Twitter microsites . In the future  there could be microsites for major events like Comic Con, The Golden Globes, Victoria Secret Shows, etc.

However, I’m not too sure about Furries.twitter.com

Note: http://fashionweek.twitter.com/archives or use #NYFW
